Midsummer´s day

This post is going to be about Midsummer´s day, which was on 23rd of June. I am not sure in how many countries it´s celebrated, but it is in Estonia. Many Estonians have traditions to celebrate that day. My family usually celebrates it by going to granny´s place, we barbecue and make a bonfire. In Estonian it´s called Jaanipäev.
Some pictures of this day as well.
 Strawberries :)
 Our bonfire.
Some pretty flowers.

I hope you like the pictures. If you have any questions or you want to tell me something, I am waiting for your comments!

Bye :)

A nice surprise.

Hello dear readers! (if there are any :))
Last week I didn´t get any letters, but that´s fine. When I went to post office to buy some stamps last Saturday, the worker in there gave me a package, which came from America. I was surprised that she understood it was for me, she just knew me by my face. I guess she remembered me as I visit post office quite often :) Usually I get a note when a package has arrived for me, but I guess the worker in post office was faster to give me the package this time.
The package was from my penfriend Rachel, with who I made a swap and here are some pictures of things she sent me. Thank you again!

The package :)
Sweets, a magazine, lip gloss and much more.
And a lot of stationery!

This week I sent a letter to my penfriend Lizzi and I sent two envelopes to users from Postcrossing, both for Little Mix Tag. I hope all the envelopes will arrive nicely ;)
Last Friday was my 9th class graduation. It went well! In the morning I went to hairdresser, who made my hair look really nice. It felt so good to get my certificate and the weather was sunny and nice on that day!
Now I am going to bake something really great, even though it is so hot today! Maybe I will share the recipe with you too in the future :)

Have a sunny day!

Letters & packages

Of course I can´t show you all the letters and packages I have got, but here are some of them :)

It´s quite old picture, but here are some of my letters I have got
A first letter from China!
A notebook and a book, they are from different swaps.
A lovely dreamcatcher from my penfriend Jenni :)
Sweets from Japan! Yummy!

Bye! :)

Welcome to my blog! :)

It´s nice to see you in my new blog. I have thought about making a blog for myself for a long time. Now it´s summer, which means I have more time to do whatever I want. And blog is something I want!
Mostly I would like to talk here (and show you!) about my penfriends, letters, things I have got and much more.
I have had penfriends for a long time. When I was about 10, my English teacher asked us if we would like to have a penfriend from another country. I wanted! So my first penfriend was from Italy and she was some years younger than me. Unfortunately we wrote just 4-5 letters, but I am still glad I had her as my penfriend. But I started liking the idea of penfriends, so I decided to search for penfriends in internet and soon I found a penfriend from Estonia. I had few penfriends from Estonia until last year, when I found a website www.interpals.net. I made an account in there and soon I found many great penfriends, some of them are my penfriends now as well and I am really happy about that! Now I am not looking for any new penfriends, I am just happy with the ones I have. It´s just that I don´t want too many penfriends, I am not a friend collector or something.
I also have a user in Postcrossing. At first I sent and got some postcards, but now I enjoy exchanging other things as tea, writing paper, sweets or something else :) Also I try to write from who I have got letters, so my penfriends know if I have receiver their letters.
I have got some really nice packages and envelopes, so I hope I can show you them in the future!
Well, I hope I am able to make new posts here often and I hope you, readers, will enjoy my blog. All comments are welcome as well - let me know what you think of my blog.

Have a nice day!
